For the first part of English, we got free time we wore not allowed to play gun games but we wore allowed to play educational games and I chose to play nitro typer because it helps me to type and spell better...

Aim: To separate the difference in ink or dyes using paper chromatography.

Method
1. cut a piece of filter paper long enough to reach the bottom of the test tube.
2. rule a line in pencil 2cm from the bottom of the test tube.
3. fill the test tube with 1cm of chromatography.
4. place a dot above the ruled line on the filter paper
5. Place the bit of paper into the test tube and wait for the paper to absorb the water...
6. wait and see what happens

First, we started off by measuring 10mm of water and put it into a test tube and cut a strip of filtering paper and ruled a line above the water line and put a dot a could dot above the ruled line and waited for the paper to absorb the water.

6 Weeks Of Digital Tech

6 Weeks Of Digital Tech

February the 1st Monday it was the start of school period 4 it was the first day of digital tech we started off by making a web site and soon after we wore to make an infographic about ergonomics. later that week we played a game called Interland and we need to find the hidden message and write about it on web site we made. The following week we made another infographic about Cyber smart and 3 weeks later we made a thing on digital bites...

Separating a solutions

Separating solutions

AIM: To Separate a solution from a solute from a solvent in a solution using evaporation...

Method 1. Set up the bunsen burner, tripod and a glaze mat. don't place the bunsen burner under the tripod yet...

2. Add approximately 50mL of hot water to your beaker and place it on top of the tripod, on the glaze mat...

3. add enough copper sulphate solution to quarter fill the evaporating basin...

4. carefully place the evaporating basin on top of the beaker...

5.  light your bunsen burner. open the air hole and gently push the bunsen burner under the tripod...

6. heat the solution until most of the solvent has been evaporated and crystals of the south are forming...

7. turn off your bunsen burner...

AIM: To separate a solute from a solvent in a solution using distillation.
S
Method
1. Set up the equipment as shown in the diagram
2. Add approximately 50 mL of coke into your chemical flask...
3. Light your bunsen burner. Open the air hole and gently push the bunsen burner under the tripod...
4. Heat the solution until most of the solvent has been evaporated. Turn off your bunsen burner...

First, we set up our equipment and poured our solvent which was coke into a glass conical flask and turned the bunsen burner on to the heating flame and as the solvent, in the conical flask the liquid stared evaperating the solute was the coke and as the water vapour enters the pipe thing the gas turned back int to a solvent...

first, we evaporated the copper sulphate and left the copper sulphate to evaporated into crystals

Making an aluminium ID tag

Making an aluminium ID tag: Start off by measuring 40mm using a ruler & place the engineer square where the 40mm mark was and using a scriber you can make a straight line by pulling the scriber towards you and repeat the proses 2x. By using a hand saw you can cut the aluminium by pulling the hand saw away and towards you... After you cut the aluminium get some soft jaws so you do make vice lines in your cut piece of aluminium. And file off the wast line as straight as you can, using a file down both sides until you reach the 35mm mark and after you have filed your peace of aluminium using the vernier calliper you can measure your peace of aluminium accurately measure your piece of aluminium. After you have measured your piece of aluminium put engineering blue on the pice of aluminium using an old cloth... Let the engineering blue dry on the peace  of aluminium and sand the other side with emery cloth (rap the emery cloth around a file and move your arms side to side shoulder with apart) After that we grabbed a ruler and measured the length the hight and length of your piece of aluminium and measure 30mm down and using a drill a hole in the centre up the top fo your aluminium and make a hole using the drill and replace the drill for a countersink and countersink you peace of aluminium your aluminium should look like this
After this we stamped letters and numbers onto our piece of aluminium and using emery cloth we made it shiny and after used use a buffing weal to make it shiny and after that, we polished it with grey stuff...

Finished product

For the first 10 min of English, we got free time and I went on pixel art because it something that fun for me and I get me thinking also share my creativity and this is what I made...

This failed but I will fix it...

Aim: To make a dilution series to investigate.

Method: To place 6 test tubes in a test tube rack 1-6
- Using the measuring cylinder, fill test tube 1 with 10 mL of water. Using the  5 remaining test tubes with 5 mL of water.
- Using tweezers, add a single crystal of potassium permanganate to a test tube.
- Gently shake the test tube to the potassium permanganate has dissolved.
- Rinse the transfer pipette thoroughly to the purple solution is gone
- Gently shake test tube 2 and repeat the process, transfer exactly 5 mL of the solution from test tube 2 to 3
- Rinse the transfer pipette thoroughly again and repeat the transfer process for test tube 4, 5 and 6.

first we added the solute which was the potassium pomegranate to a test tube with 10mL of water and waited for the potassium pomegranate  to devolve and by gently shaking the test tube it helps to dissolve potassium pomegranate faster. As the potassium pomegranate dissolved the solvent with is the potassium pomegranate changing the color of the water to purple. As we used the pipette to transfer the water to test tube to test tube the solution lost it color the water go dilute AKA weaker. Test tube number 1 was the most concentrated.
