Cultural kete

 Culture Kete

11th of March we had started our kete about our culture. During the last month and a bit, we have been learning about the importance of celebrations, and rituals to do with our culture. During the time of learning about the importance of culture, we wore assigned several tasks to learn about our background and our family history. The culture kete was an assessment worth 3 credits for NCEA 1. The tasks we wore assigned to do was a DLO, a symbol of culture shield, a blog post about Kiwiana items, a model item about something significant to our culture out of clay, and a poster about our culture, celebration, sports, dressing up, and rituals ECT. On the 14th of April Hornby, high school healed international food feer and cultural celebration night at 5pm and ended at 8pm.

This task was about 10 relevant Kiwiana items to do with our culture as you can see I have a small range of significant items and this task was relevant and links on to my poster...

This is the final outcome of my poster as you can see it has celebrations drawings and rituals to do with my culture and on the side of it has a small blurb going into detail about the poster.
