Matter

The states of Matter
W.A.L.T: We are learning about the three states of matter Solid liquid and Gas.

The three states of matter Solid liquid and Gas. The matter is what the world is made from the living to nonliving these are things that make our world.

Example: If I had had a solid piece of ice and left it out in the sun for 30 minutes and came back it would be a liquid and if I would leave that liquid out for 2 hours some of the water would have evaporated into a gas.

In the solid, the particles are close together.
In the liquid, the particles can just move.
In the gas, the particles are free to move.

  1. Well done, Caleb! You worked hard on this post and I can tell you know what you are talking about! I am not too familiar with Matter and how particles work, so I enjoyed reading your clear and concise explanation. I also like how you included images to help me understand better.

    Very well done!
