this week the class had to right an explanation of something of our choice and i made this

Question I am Answering: Why does Metal rust

Many metals can corrode and this process takes from a few months to several years. Moisture and oxygen will makes metal corrode in a complex process.

Metal corrodes because of a process called Iron Oxide, this is when Iron is exposed to moisture in the air and when the oxygen drys up the moisture and makes iron oxide.

Why doesn't your car corrode? Not all metals corrode and a car is one of them. Cars don’t corrode because tin, zinc and paint don’t rust. The paint will act like a shield for the car so that is why cars don't rust.

Corrode means.
Corrode is another name for rust and iron oxide.

If you want to stop your car from corroding you could coat is with pant and if that doesn't work you could take it to the shop.
