Science Term 1 week 6 to 7 Science Project

For the last 6 weeks or 42 days, each and every one of us in 10Ra has learnt about the human body and its functions... The human body has a variety of different functions such as Respiratory, endocrine, and lymphatic....

Joints
Joints are connections between two bones joints provide a smooth and soft surface to stop the bone from rubbing against one another. Joints are made up of bone, ligament, cartilage, synovial membrane,  and synovial fluid. There are many different types of joints such as Ball and socket joint, hinge joint, and plane joints and that was just 3 out of the many joints that the human body has. The joints allow us to move in certain ways hinge joints allow us to move in one direction, ball and socket joints allow a 360 rotation so on so on...

Aerobic respiration
Is the process of breaking down food (glucose) and converting it into the energy/ ATP. It's a long multistep process the roughly makes 36 ATP which is energy... (glaucous + oxygen= 36 ATP)

Anaerobic respiration
Uses food but does not require oxygen and makes 2 ATP (energy) ... Anaerobic respiration occurs when the body uses all the energy in your body and you have a lack of oxygen which makes lactic acid which makes the mussels burn during an exercise...  (glaucous + lactic acid = 2 ATP)

The heart
The heart is an organ that provides blood around the body the heart takes away the waste and takes away the deoxygenated blood and provides the body with oxygenated blood.
