 Adrenalin forest

29th of November the year 8s had gathered up to go to adrenalin forest for EOTC week. When the year 8s had arrived to the destination we split up into two groups 1 group went to adrenalin forest and the other group went for a walk. When I was climbing the trees I had encountered many obstacles but level 6 was the hardest by far because it was so high up and the trees wore moving back and fords and there wore many opticals that wore challenging. Been so high up I just wanted to quit but I wanted to challenge my self and to step outside of my confit zone and I carried on beside my friend Logan. My favorite part of adrenalin forest was level 6 because I like a challenge and level 6 was a challenge. when I have finished level 6 I was so happy and relive because my arms wore giving up.

26TH NOV 2:32 pm in the afternoon our task is to finish up our lego gun and to make it semi-auto and to give it a nicer look and to give the gun a body.
my favorite activity this year Wednesday the 19TH in the afternoon our class 8BH had science and we were doing a quick and easy science experiment, we made hokey pokey the thing you will need sugar, golden syrup, baking powder, pot and you need access to a stove. you need to start off by putting 5 to 6 tablespoons in your pot and have half a cup of golden bring to a medium heat until all the sugar dissolves and it starts boiling when it starts to boil you add the baking powder and stir quickly and when it starts to form pour onto a tray with baking paper, leave it to cool for 3 min and then brake it up then enjoy it.

My task was to tell a story in 1st person about the song called happier by marshmallow we could pick between the dog or the girl and I chose the girl because she has an interesting role in the song.

It was my 9th Birthday I was sitting down at the kitchen table surrounded by kids screaming and yelling and poping blooms the first thing I received was my cake with nine candles but a girl came running up to me and blew out the candles I was frustrated at the girl I couldn't believe someone would have the audacity to do that. Soon after mum took the cake and dad came back with my first present I opened the present and go a soft yellow silk bow dad left the room and came back with a puppy named Malo he was a small golden retriever aged 1.

After the task we wore mento write about did we enjoy the task or not. I like the task because it was fun and unique and different at the same time if I had the chance to do this again I would.

Cyber smart

Cyber smart

Tuesday the 6th of November 8BH and 8TS joined up to do cyber smart of 40 munites in the learning commons.

In cyber smart, we are learning to narrow our search results to find the proper search result.

I think we are learning to narrow our search results to find the proper search result's because it might help us to find what we are looking for and to help us in future time.

In cyber smart, I learned to find reliable websites and web sits that I can trust.

I think this might help me in the future by gathering me the right info instead of faulty info.

Maths

Math/ probability

For Maths, we are learning about probability is the chance of something happening. For maths, Shelley had the choice of getting $5 every week or she could roll a die and 1=$1  2=$2   3=$4   4=$5   5=$7   6=$10. If she chose $5 a week she would end up with $260 and if she chose the die she would get a random amount of money.

If I was Shelley I would take the $5 a week and get 260 because if she chose the die one she could get a low amount of money but she would need to be lucky to get a 10.

Persuasive writing

Cats and dogs are the most popular pets in the world but I personally think that cats are better, because they don't cost as much and cats clean up after themselves, unlike dogs.

Cats are cheap and easy to look after because they don't need a leader, or to be groomed and they don't need as many toys as a dog does. Let alone a dog is expensive as it is and to get all the excesses a dog needs it would be better to get a cat over a dog.

This week I had to write a description about something challenging.

and for this task, I was meant to write about something that was challenging for me.

Adrenalin forest
Task write it: In 2010 around August there was a carnival that got the attention of many families. Inside of this carnival held there were many challenging activities and some not so much. At the time I was 5 and what was hard is now easy for me. There was this one activity that was the hardest of all and it was a climbing wall. This climbing was one of the hardest because there were bits missing and some of the climbing peace’s when touched they will spin or fall off. One of the hardest things with this climbing wall was the horizontal slope been a very young age it was one of the hardest activities there was in this carnival. First I was given a harness put on and then started my climb, it was about halfway when I started to have trouble with the horizontal slope. I lost grip of the climbing and fell back but luckily the man below was holding the rope and I was just floating in the air. Soon after I grabbed back on the climbing wall and tried again but soon after I gave up and I got back to the ground. If you have the chance to do something new do it you won't regret it in the future and if you can't do it try and try and never give up.
