Matariki is the celebration of the maorie new year and the ones that died in that past and to remember the ones we love and to gather up family members to have fun and eat. Matariki is also the celebration of the 7 sisters and the cluster of the bright 7 stars and if you want to see the stars wake up around 3:00.
